COURSES: Spanish As a Second Language A study of the essentials of Spanish with emphasis on oral expression, followed by an emphasis on written expression (grammar and spelling). It teaches vocabulary, grammar skills, sentence structure and the use of idiomatic expressions. Also an overview of the many Hispanic cultures. In order to determine the qualifications for each level we take into
consideration your proficiency, based on our initial interview and/or a placement test,
and your own desire to take a particular class.
